Director and set designer Maxime Kurvers continues his research into the foundations of theatrical work. On the borders of the history of musical modernity and avant-garde theater, he transposes a series of musical actions into a theatrical space. An experimental recital to think of theater as something other than the illusion of spectacle, as much as an attempt to reveal the grammar and uses of theater via incidental music.
Not being a composer himself, and therefore applying no a priori harmonic or musicological knowledge, Maxime Kurvers seeks to produce in the context of this evening a musical writing that the theater alone would make possible, an experimental recital to think of theater as something other than the illusion of spectacle, as much as an attempt to reveal the grammar and uses of theater via incidental music.
As we move from one musical idea to the next, we may find ourselves bearing living, critical witness to the artistic work in progress, always questioning what, at the very least, makes theater.

Inspired by shifting, aka Generation Z's exploratory practice of shifting one's consciousness elsewhere or carving out a bespoke life (a desired reality) through the power of thought and self-hypnosis, Remixed settings is imagined as a practice of musical escapism shaped by plasticity and performativity.
In this sonic fabulation, Sandar Tun Tun traverses an inner universe made up of co-presences or amalgams of realities, myths and utopias with which she enters into resonance to shape intermediary characters. Through a composite language where club, noise and pop influences coexist, fragmented voices and electroacoustic compositions, she proposes an interface where listening and embodiment operate simultaneously.

Maxime Kurvers
sound artist
In 2015, Maxime Kurvers produced Pièces courtes1-9, his first stage production, in the form of a theatrical program that questions the minimal conditions of its own realization. Premiered at the Festival d'Automne in 2016, Dictionnaire de la musique extends this questioning of theater and its resources through the presence and history of other mediums. La naissance de la tragédie (2018) is a solo for and by actor Julien Geffroy. Idées musicales (2020) is an experimental musical recital. Created in April 2021, Théories et pratiques du jeu d'acteur (1428-2020) provides a critical reading of the pedagogical tools available to the actor. Maxime Kurvers is associate artist at La Ménagerie de verre for the 2016-2017 season and at La Commune - CDN d'Aubervilliers since September 2016.
Sandar Tun Tun
sound and visual artist
Sandar Tun Tun builds her work around fabulation, new alliances and collaborative trajectories. As an artist, researcher, DJ and composer, she develops a sonic, spatial and performative practice centered on listening, sensitive and critical reactivity. Her installations, compositions, performances, audiovisual sets and collective writings address the conditions of coexistence within dominant cultures, the space of appearance/disappearance, the link between technology and spirituality, non-human ecologies and collective consciousness, and give rise to projects with hybrid languages ranging from the creation of entities to the organization of sound poetry evenings. Sandar embodies the musical identities Nay Thit (DJ, producerx) and SD S (noise, electronic music) and is also one half of BARE-TT, an experimental music duo formed in 2016 with researcher, artist and biologist Katia Barrett. BARE-TT is a conceptual audiovisual project that explores the possibilities of sound storytelling at the crossroads of queer feminist science fiction and the symbiotic relationships of the living.
Anne Lise Le Gac
artist
Anne Lise Le Gac studied at the École Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs de Strasbourg between 2003 and 2008, where she practiced performance and installation. Between 2011 and 2013, she joined the Essais training program at the Centre Chorégraphique d'Angers, then under the direction of Emmanuelle Huynh. She gradually focused her research on the hypothesis of "vernacular performance". Then Claudia Triozzi asked her to perform in her piece Boomerang - Le retour à soi. She accepted. Research and performances continued on their own and in conversation: GRAND MAL with Élie Ortis, artisan couturier, ACTION / TRADITION / COUVERCLE with Aymeric Hainaux, beatboxer performer and LE CAP with Pauline Le Boulba, doctoral student in the DANSE department at Paris 8 University. Since 2015, and as a team, they have been activating OKAY CONFIANCE, a festival of performances / a festival of trust. Various venues welcome them in Marseille, Paris, Nice, Amsterdam. Spring 2017, La Station, artist run space Niçois, offers them a production residency, to continue writing a new featuring of their performance La Caresse du Coma. This project was shown during the Parallèle festival in Marseille, at La Tôlerie (Clermont-Ferrand). It is programmed at Tanzquartier (Vienna) and Bâtard Festival (Brussels). In spring 2018, Anne Lise Le Gac joined the Residence & Reflection program at Kunstenfestivaldesarts in Brussels. Then La Ferme du Buisson hosted the 7th edition of the OKAY CONFIANCE festival during its Performance Day. In May 2019, she will present DUCTUS MIDI, co-written with Arthur Chambry, at the Kustenfestival in Brussels. She is currently working on a new creation La Caresse du Coma ft. YOLO in collaboration with musician Loto Retina.Anne Lise Le Gac has been supported since 2017 in production/dissemination by Parallèle - Pôle de production international pour les pratiques émergentes.
