Presentation of the GMEM
The GMEM was founded in 1972 by a group of composers. It was accredited as a National Center for Musical Creation in 1997. Christian Sebille, founder of the Centre Césaré, was appointed Director in 2011. He instills a new artistic project open to all aesthetics of contemporary musical creation.
In 2016, the structure merged with the GRIM (Groupe de Recherche et d'Improvisation Musicales) and moved to the Friche de la Belle de Mai. In 2017, Le Module was built.
In 2021, the diffusion is deeply renewed with the meeting of all the musical aesthetics around :
- a Season - Les Modulations - organized around a monthly meeting at Le Module or in the spaces of La Friche, every 3rd Tuesday of the month;
- events organized with our partners (La Criée, Le Zef...);
- a Festival PROPAGATIONS, in May, dedicated to the multiplicity of forms of sound and musical creation (sound installations, musical banquet, performances outside the walls, sound walks, musical walks...)

Activities entrusted:
You will be immersed in the Communication Department, which is made up of the Director of Communication and the Information and Communication Officer, and you will work alongside them in the deployment of the global communication strategy, public relations and events as a facilitator with the public. You will help set up targeted and adapted communication actions.
Your internship will aim to accompany, support and enhance the activities developed by the GMEM to make them accessible to the greatest number of people, through the prism of communication and new technologies - social networks, photos, videos...
You will be required to, among other things:
Contribute to the deployment of the global communication strategy:
Participate in...
> in the development of social networks - content writing, reflection on the means to reach new types of audiences - community management;
> in the development and updating of the website concerning the activities of the structure;
> in the elaboration of newsletters (on Sendinblue software);
> in the realization of photo and video recordings and editing of artists in residence;
> to the relays of the cultural events in which the organization is implied - referencing of the events on the sites of cultural information;
> to the collection of information of communication near the artists, companies, partners;
> to the meetings of the teams of the places partners, of the public, to facilitate their access to the events of the structure, to diffuse flyers, posters or any other document of presentation;
Collaborate on press and media relations:

> in the activity of the structure, in the reception of groups and the public, in connection with the Transmission service

Profile of the intern
- Student.e in 2nd year of master 2
- Proven interest for the cultural sector and music
