Transmission

Every year, GMEM develops participatory projects that place audiences and participants at the heart of artistic creation. Over a two-year period, the GMEM implements projects designed to adapt and respond to the challenges and specificities of given territories.
Developed in collaboration with various local partners (social, educational, health), these projects revolve around artistic practice, which can take several forms depending on the desired outcome: musical practice workshops, writing workshops, ensemble workshops, interventions by artists or musicians....
At the end of the two years, the artistic work carried out gives rise to the original creation of a show presented in public during the Propagations festival at La Friche, or at other times during the season in partner venues.
