Transmission

The platform is a new device that brings together various partners in artistic and higher education (including the CNRR, the Cité de la Musique, the ESADMM, the Ecole Supérieure d'Art d'Aix, the University of Aix-Marseille via the Acoustics and Musicology Master's degree, and the SATIS department).

This platform is conceived as a participative space and is organized from the proposals of each one, with the aim of encouraging the links and the cooperation between the establishments. It is structured around the following objectives:

- To allow students and teachers to meet and exchange ideas on their practice
- To propose actions in a logic of mutualization of competences and fields of intervention
- To propose to the students, all year round, an offer of professional training, workshops, learning sessions
- To create in the long term a dynamic around musical creation

The actions hosted or organized will be in line with three pedagogical axes: training, practice and professionalization.
These axes will be developed according to the needs of the structures with the aim of completing their various teachings as well as possible.

Each year, the GMEM partners with the CFMI to prepare the visit of several primary school classes to a performance scheduled as part of the Propagations Festival.

On this occasion, the students discover the musical repertoire associated with the show and explore the work. Keys to understanding the work are provided to them through musical listening, vocal and/or instrumental practice.

A special meeting with the artistic team is usually organized before or after the performance.

The PACTE'AMU program (For Cultural Access to All Students) set up by the Culture Mission of Aix-Marseille University allows students to access the cultural offer of numerous structures at preferential rates.

Within the framework of this partnership, the GMEM offers a 5€ discount on all the shows programmed in its Propagations Festival upon presentation of the student card.

A mediation time for students is possible within the University, before the Propagations Festival which takes place in May.
