Sonord* is an artistic project to be carried out between 2020 and 2023, in co-production with the Nord-AP-HM hospital in Marseille's 15th arrondissement.
GMEM develops local artistic projects that place audiences and participants at the heart of artistic creation. Developed in collaboration with various local partners (social, educational, health), these projects revolve around artistic practice, which can take several forms depending on the desired outcome: musical practice workshops, writing workshops, ensemble training courses, interventions by artists or musicians...

Artist Pierre Pulisciano was asked to imagine a sound project in the radiotherapy department. Through meetings with staff and patients, he learned that waiting times can be a source of anxiety and stress during what is known as the "patient journey". With this in mind, Pierre Pulisciano created a radio play - in the style of an audioguide - based solely on sound recordings and testimonies collected in the department.
Sillonner tells the geographical and medical story, explains each of the roles of the nursing staff and is made available to patients. Designed to guide, soothe and reassure, it is also a tribute to those who accompany them.
