Sensitive to the effects produced by sensory stimulation, his compositions invite us to move through different spaces, suggesting different states of perception. His musical writing is mainly focused on the research and deployment of sound masses created from concrete or synthesized sounds, or field recordings. In his musical approach, he appropriates phenomena specific to technology and exploits the many characteristics of analog and digital. His music is abstract and instinctive, playing on contrasts between tension and release, saturation and decay.
Self-taught, he joined the Conservatoire National de Marseille in 2015, where in 2020 he was unanimously awarded the Prix de Composition Électroacoustique, summa cum laude.
Pierre Pulisciano has lived and worked in Marseille since 2003. He works in the field of electroacoustic and experimental music. He develops composition and performance work, and creates sound installations.
