Each year, the GMEM invites an associate composer from the program to present his or her creative works and the reference works that have shaped his or her artistic and professional career.

Based on double listening and shared commentary, Écoutes Commentées are special sessions where audiences are invited to discover new music under professional and exceptional conditions.



Visual artist and composer Loïse Bulot explores the links between the visual and the sonic.

In a panorama presenting personal works and those of various artists, she will propose a discovery of visual music in experimental cinema, a plunge into infinitely small universes with a film by Jean Painlevé, as well as a time of sharing around graphic scores. 

The listening sessions will then introduce electroacoustic works inspired by colors, shapes, materials and living worlds, as well as exploring the notion of space with stereo and octophonic works. The session will conclude with a moment of practice and experimentation around the visual representation of sound.
