"The voice is poly instrumental - at once a string instrument, a wind instrument, a body instrument and a language instrument - it has this specificity that makes it an instrument and a material with unprecedented possibilities.
This monthly laboratory proposed by Natacha Muslera, encourages to free oneself, to emancipate oneself vocally. It is a time and a space for intense vocal learning, sharing, creation, theoretical experimentation and multiple exploration: breath control, collective free improvisation, polyphonic creation, in situ composition, acousmatic dance, sensitive and commented listening, care.
Within this laboratory, a modular vocal ensemble was created: Voix multiphonique. The research and experimental polyphonic creations, impelled by Natacha Muslera, are sung in an itinerant way, once or twice a year in parks, gardens, creeks, in the heart of the city of Marseille. Singing to listen to sound ecosystems, human and non-human sounds.
On the other hand, Natacha shares extensive vocal techniques, from classical, contemporary and sacred singing to songs from different oral traditions. These techniques are concrete tools to forge one's vocal instrument and to liberate and reinforce one's energies. free polyrhythms. The support of this laboratory consists in deploying one's relations to listening, that of one's own breath to that of others, that of the acoustic space to the sounds of the world.
"The voice instrument mobilizes the whole body, and the approach is physical, similar to that of a dancer. Each sound to be emitted implies a concentration, a preparation identical to that of martial arts, before a fight. Our weapon is the breath.

"I am interested in every voice, the tiny and infirm voices - those of the living and the dead, of humans and non-humans. With these voices I elaborate a language of resistance that I call wood language, a hybrid language, articulated and inarticulated, impregnated with sound ecosystems. This activates performances, improvisations, texts, collective vocal practices, sound and radio pieces, scores, films, workshops and research laboratories, technologies of alterities... These experiments confront as much the vocal potentials, as the problematics of normality and aesthetics, that is to say the limits that one assigns to the voice: that of gender, class, register; as well as the predominance of a certain sense.
