Research and writing residency.
Hope for the Day After is a mixed-media piece for voice and electronics, supported by an electroacoustic composition.
Testimonies from Palestinian and Israeli women intertwine with concrete and abstract sounds. Behind the front lines, how can we speak of this without simply recounting events? How can we bring hopes and despair to the stage without delivering a standardized message? The balance between narrative elements and other, more abstract sources aims to leave the realms of imagination and poetry open.
