In residence :

The GMEM's spaces, network of skills and facilities make it possible to support numerous artistic teams.
Composers, instrumental ensembles, sound artists, electronic musicians...: the GMEM welcomes musical creation in all its aesthetics.
Open to experimental and hybrid forms, artistic residencies are dedicated to conception, development and production.
All stages of creative work are involved: composition, recording, rehearsal, scenography, creation of mechanical, electronic, video or digital devices...

Please note that all our residences are occupied for the next six months.

Programming :

At the heart of the festival:
''Propagations'', the festival of sound art and musical creation takes place over ten days in May.

Within the season:
In addition to these highlights, GMEM offers regular public events throughout the year.
Modulations" and "ExtraMod" constitute a season of privileged moments of sharing between artists and audiences. These exchanges aim to transform the way music and sound are represented, and develop new modes of transmission between artists, works and audiences.

Artistic commissions :

Applications (for residencies or programming) are examined by a monthly artistic committee chaired by Christian Sebille.
If your application is selected, we will contact you to discuss your project and its feasibility.
Some periods of the year are quite busy, and our response time can sometimes be a little slow, but we are committed to responding to you.
