For analog synthesizers, acoustic instruments and objects.
Gaps, offsets, intervals, spaces between, jumps, divarications...
Écarts is a musical creation based on mutual listening. Through the processes of cutting (Daniel Deshays) and retiring what is given to be heard, this work solicits the presence of the listener. The gap represents the interruption of a regularity, the exposure of a tension.
Participants in this project will be invited to approach the notion of active listening, and to experiment with electronic instrumental playing. This collective sound creation is envisaged as a knowledge-activating experience that, through practice, allows us to question the nature of audiovisual language.

Isotta Trastevere
Composer, sound artist and PhD in "Pratique et théorie de la création artistique et littéraire"
Today she teaches "musique et technologies du son" at Aix-Marseille university and conducts her research within the PRISM laboratory (https://www.prism.cnrs.fr/). Her research focuses on the study of the temporality of sound creation processes, using a research-creation methodology. She is an expert in composition techniques that take listening into account in the creative process, as well as in models of musical analysis through listening (theory of listening behaviors and embodied temporality).
Her projects have been broadcast in venues in Marseille, France and abroad (HEAR, ESAPB, ESADMM, ENSP, GMEM, GMEA, FRAC PACA, MUSLAB, MUSINFO).
She uses spatialization and analog synthesis. In 2019, she and a group of artists founded Radio Nunc, an independent web radio for sound creation (www.radionunc.org).
In 2023, she joined the Délétère artists' collective, based at the Couvent Lévat in Marseille (www.deletere.org).
