Since 1986, I compose and improvise with voices, electronic sounds, silences and rhythms of the world. In 1990, I meet Jean-Kristoff Camps in a septet of turntable record, the arenas of vinyl, together we create the duo KRISTOFF K.ROLL.

On stage I mix machines, microphones, raw materials and everyday objects. Trained in hijacking, I transform speakers and microphones into musical instruments. I particularly work on the relation of sound to space, developing a work of sound sculptor.
I like to activate the improbable in my performances, I like the use of masks.

The voice is one of my privileged materials, through it, I imagine objects that navigate between poetry, philosophy, radio.

I collaborate lately with Anne-Julie Rollet and Christophe Cardoen, Anne Laure Pigache, Chantal Dumas, Elena Biserna, Jean Michel Espitallier, the company Exit, Carol Sansour, Enna Chaton, Sophie Agnel, Daunik Lazro, ...

With Kristoff K.Roll, we play regularly in France and abroad (Belgium, Holland, Denmark, Germany, Poland, Austria, Switzerland, Quebec, USA, Egypt, Greece, Croatia...), we have released several remarkable records, regularly broadcasted on the airwaves (radio France, radio Canada ...).

In 2004, in Montpellier, I co-founded the festival sonorités with the poet Anne-James Chaton, the guitarist Didier Aschour, the visual artist Enna Chaton, the transdisciplinary artist Frédéric Dumond and still with Jean-Kristoff Camps.

Since 1998 I am a member of the editorial board of "revue et corrigée", and since 2012 I make a net audio section dedicated to the genre, artistic experimentation and its narrative: "wi watt'heure" that Elena Biserna joined in 2018.

I have a gesture that pursues me, that of the seizure of time, or rather of its suspension. It also corresponds to the stupefaction, the moment when the breath is suspended.
Compressed sound questions me in that it proposes a trace of an object, a voice or a landscape, sometimes more dreamlike than politely collected sound, it points to industry, its ability to swallow us almost entirely but not quite.
I don't understand how one can create outside the social and political world.
