2e2m is partnering with the Onze Heures Onze collective, dedicated to jazz and improvised music, for an encounter with Indian musician B.C. Manjunath, a world-renowned mridangam player.
They invite composers/arrangers Alexandre Herer and Julien Pontvianne to combine their worlds with that of Séverine Ballon, a composer invited by 2e2m. Together with B.C. Manjunath, they will create a concert based on his instrument, rhythms, and language, punctuated by three original compositions in search of new sounds and aesthetic horizons.
More than a desire to merge, it is the desire to create new music that drives this team with its diverse cultural backgrounds.
