Uncut attacks, amplified scrap metal, caught feedbacks, provoked chances, melodies that invite themselves but don't stay at the table, rhythmic sketches and assumed zones of beauty, constructed and cracked materials, counter-points to the line... backwards and forwards: to be put in the energy-improvisation-noise category, ascending high voltage!
In its three years of existence, Autoreverse has shaken up its certainties on numerous international and European stages: Fimav (Canada), Angelica (IT), Musica (Strasbourg), Instants Chavirés (Montreuil), Static Age Records (USA)....

Guitarist
Since 2015, Nina Garcia has been researching and creating around the electric guitar, halfway between improvised music and noise. Her set-up is reduced to a minimum: a guitar, a pedal, an amp with which she sculpts sound and digs into chaos to bring out the unheard-of. More a duo than a solo, her blend of technical mastery and total freedom is astonishing. A convergence of savagery and tenderness with her instrument, a tense corps à corps between two vibrant souls for a music and choreography of raw poetry.
She has played at Instants Chavirés (Paris), Sonic Protest (France), LUFF (Lausanne), Issue Project Room (New-York), Cave 12 (Geneva), GRM (Paris), Sonic Acts (Amsterdam), Café de la Danse (Paris), Gaité Lyrique (Paris), All Ears (Oslo), Mayhem (Copenhagen), Café Oto (London), Echoraum (Wien), Occii (Amsterdam), GMEA (Albi), Bruits Blancs (France), Ateliers Claus (Brussels), Banlieues Bleues (Pantin), Musique Action (Nancy), Skanu Mesz (Riga), Museo Nacional Reina Sofia (Madrid)....
She plays solo under the name Mariachi, as well as in the group mamiedaragon, in duo with trombonist Maria Bertel, and with percussionist Camille Émaille, she is a member of the ensemble Le Un, and has performed with Luke Stewart and Leila Bordreuil's Feedback Ensemble, Anna Gaïotti, Romain Simon, Stephen O'Malley, Sophie Agnel, Antoine Chessex, Louis Schild...
Using a rudimentary electroacoustic device built around a repaired record player, a prepared mixer and other rudimentary equipment to manipulate - to cut a long story short - Arnaud Rivière has been practicing free improvisation, solo and through collaborations, since the late 90s.
Now mainly active as a soloist, with Autoreverse and A_R_C_C (with C_C), he has toured extensively in Europe and elsewhere, and played with musicians such as Roger Turner, Matin Tétreault, Erik M, Bayal and Nihilist Spasm Band, Julien Desprez, Sophie Agnel, Martin Ng, Anla Courtis, Mario De Vega, Aaron Moore & Daniel Padden & Lawrence Coleman, Gert-Jan Prins, Maya Dunietz, Mat Pogo or Erik D'Orion in contexts such as : Présences Electroniques INA-GRM (Paris), Chaos Computer Club (NYC), Lieu Unique (Nantes), Transart (Bolzano), Météo (Mulhouse), Tempo Reale (Firenze), KlangBald Festival (Scheer), Mozg Festival (Bydgogcz), GAC (Santiago de Compostella), The International Turntable Orchestra - Akademie des Kunste (Berlin), Ectoplasmes3-Mutek (Montreal, Quebec), Sonic Acts (Het Hem - Amsterdam), Cave 12 (Geneva). ...
For over 20 years, he has also been involved in programming experimental music for Instants Chavirés (until 2005) and the Sonic Protest festival.
