Brigitte Fabre

Brigitte Fabre is a choral conductor based in Marseille, and leads the vocal ensemble Les Vallonés, which she founded in 1990, as well as other groups with whom she explores a wide variety of repertoires: a human and musical adventure fueled by her passion and curiosity for music and choral singing. With the association Les Vallonés, she leads projects to promote amateur musical practice and cultural development, organizing workshops, concerts and events (Rencontres Vocales). She teaches choral singing at the Cité de la Musique in Marseille, and is a lecturer at the CFMI in Aix-en-Provence (Centre de Formation des Musiciens Intervenants), from which she graduated in 1988. She has a musical (flute, singing) and theatrical background, as well as a wealth of stage experience, and continues to train throughout her professional life (choral conducting courses, etc.). She enjoys enriching her experience by collaborating with musicians, singers, scenographers...

Isabelle Lorenzino

Born into a family of musicians, I began learning music at an early age. After 14 years of classical violin training, I looked for ways to breathe new life into my practice by exploring contemporary music and jazz improvisation, music history, singing and the ukulele. I finally decided to become a music facilitator, combining my passion for music in all its multiple facets with my desire to work for social cohesion and the right to culture for all. Today, I run a wide range of workshops for a variety of audiences, with a predilection for improvisation and creative approaches. I have also just entered the first year of Pascal Gobin's electroacoustic composition class at the CNRR in Marseille.

Maël Bailly

Maël Bailly's path to musical creation began with the practice of improvised music. Originally a violinist, he switched to the viola in Gilles Deliège's class at the Tours Conservatoire, and discovered the contemporary repertoire. He went on to win a Prix de perfectionnement, as well as a DEM in composition and chamber music. A decisive encounter with Alessandro Solbiati opened the way to composition. The following year, he was accepted into Gérard Pesson's composition class at the Paris Conservatoire in the 20th and 21st centuries. He took part in the Voix Nouvelles de Royaumont academy in 2016. As well as composing, he performs and records as a violist, notably with the Medvedkine quartet (contemporary ciné-concert), the Padam quartet (classical repertoire and street song) and on the improvised music scene, where he works with Joëlle Léandre, Alexandros Markéas, Vincent Le Quang and Dominique Piffarelli. His music has been performed by the Divertimento ensemble, the MDI ensemble and the Athamar quartet.
