Creation and recording residency.

In this new collaboration, guitarist Alessandra Novaga and sound artist Alessandro Bosetti create a performative object at the crossroads of immersive concert, co-composition and research into musical memory. The duo take on a corpus of songs from a shared repertoire - Violeta Parra, Fabrizio De André, Franco Battiato, Luis Alberto Spinetta - as well as original compositions, like active fragments of an emotional heritage.
Their choice emerges from unexpected forks, drifts, emotional and critical rereadings.

These materials are subjected to a meticulous process of deconstruction: slowed down, dilated, stratified, until they tip over into abstract, quasi-mineral forms, where the spectral trace of what once was persists. The performative dimension lies at the junction of drone, minimalist writing and textural improvisation.

The project extends Bosetti's recent research into sound memory: what the voice retains, alters or erases, what the body memorizes in spite of itself, the mechanisms of wear and tear, forgetting and persistence as compositional motors. The duo becomes a two-body listening device, where roles interfere: prepared guitar, live and processed voice, saxophones, text fragments, breath textures.

The approach is slow, meditative and deliberately porous. The performance space becomes a place of shared sound residence, a breeding ground for unstable forms.

Alessandra Novaga articulates her work around heterogeneous materials (archives, images, writings), with particular attention to extramusical resonance. Her projects are often inspired by cinematographic figures such as Andreï Tarkovski, Derek Jarman or Rainer Werner Fassbinder, whose atmospheres she transposes into abstract, interior soundscapes.
