A participatory project initiated by the GMEM, the Anef-Provence association and the Orchestre Moderne et Contemporain, Topos tempo is a mixed piece that aims to use musical creation to promote encounters and exchanges between artists and amateur audiences.
Pôm Bouvier B. (acousmatic composer) and Lionel Ginoux (instrumental music composer) have chosen to tackle the theme of territory. The territory of origin, intimate or imagined. A set of territories gives rise to a map, a veritable graphic score that provides the framework for the performance. Over an 8-month period, the participants became co-composers of the work during group workshops and joint rehearsals. From sound recording to improvisation and the composition of soundtracks, the ANEF Provence participants, under the guidance of composer Pôm Bouvier B., discovered all the facets of acousmatic composition. The Orchestre Moderne et Contemporain interpreted Lionel Ginoux's score, under the direction of Sébastien Boin. Finally, during joint rehearsals, the various participants were able to meet, play and build together, to give birth to Topos Tempo.
The final creation was presented on June 12, 2014 at the Salle Musicatreize in Marseille.

Pôm Bouvier B.
sound artist, composer
A composer of electroacoustic music, she also experiments with sound through improvisation. Pôm Bouvier B. describes her music as "body music", nourished over many years by a wide range of artistic practices: scenography, dance and image. She seeks to propose pathways, explorations of matter, states of listening that would awaken that constant, natural back-and-forth between our inner selves and the rest of the world.
After studying electroacoustic music composition in Lucie Prodhomme's class in Marseille, she developed a musical exploration particularly attentive to the space in which sound is projected, bringing into play space itself and improvisation, practiced alone or in collaboration (with William Petit, choreographer, performer; David Merlo, bassist and composer; Floy Krouchi
composer; Floy Krouchi, bassist, composer, performer; Cati Delolme, singer).
Lionel Ginoux
composer
"Writing... in all simplicity... writing, bringing out what's inside me, not through words, but through sounds. With no preconceived notions of style style, I need to combine music, sounds and materials to give meaning and witness the world." Lionel Ginoux writes lyrical, sensitive music, with a strong attachment to rhythm and musical energy. His writing is in line with 20th-century music, popular music and jazz. He writes mainly for "acoustic" formations: symphony orchestra, choir, opera, chamber music and soloists. Lionel Ginoux's music is performed in France and abroad. In 2014, his violin concerto "Les Indociles" was premiered by Nemanja Radulovic and the Marseille Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Eun Sun Kim. He is currently writing an oratorio for four solo voices, large choir and organ, based on a dramatic poem by Benjamin Fondane, "Le reniement de Pierre"; and a cycle for symphony orchestra inspired by the choreography of Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui.
