This seminar will analyze the general concepts of the film-music relationship, with an emphasis on experimental films that give particular importance to music and sound composition.
The teaching approach will be based on an analysis of the composition tools used, which will be studied along two main lines:- on the one hand, European experimental films (particularly from Germany and Austria) with a technological and electronic dimension- on the other, experimental films from Arab countries, which show how the religious, political or social issues of these countries have an influence on sound composition.
The seminar will be open to all Platform partners, and its content will be tailored to the needs of students from different institutions.
