As part of the Marseille Festival.
Artists on the rocks of Frioul Island, spectators in boats: when music marries the land and the waves...
Under the impetus of composer and director Benjamin Dupé, nature becomes the stage for an adventurous and unusual experience, listening to the voices of the sea and of human beings.

Benjamin Dupé
Composer
Composer, guitarist, electronic musician and stage director born in 1976, Benjamin Dupé studied at the Conservatoire de Nantes and the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris. He devotes himself to musical creation in the broadest sense of the term: instrumental, vocal and electroacoustic writing, improvisation and performance, musical theater, opera, installation design...
His vision of a musical creation that plays with the boundaries between disciplines, his sense of the dramaturgy of listening and his preoccupation with the encounter with the spectator naturally lead him to often stage his work as a composer.
Benjamin Dupé has received commissions from the French government, national centers for musical creation, Radio France, Ircam, SACD (Sujets à vif), ensembles (L'Instant Donné, la Maîtrise de Caen, Musicatreize), orchestras (Orchestre Régional de Normandie), directors (Declan Donnellan) and choreographers (Thierry Thieû Niang).
Since 2012, he has been artistic director of Comme je l'entends, les productions. He is currently composer-in-residence at Vélo Théâtre in Apt (84) as part of the "compositeur associé dans les scènes pluridisciplinaires" scheme, supported by the DGCA, Sacem and SACD.
