From March 19 to 21, 2026, Babel Music will capture the waves and vibrations of the entire world and make them resonate in Marseille. The international event will stop off at the GMEM module on Friday, March 20.

The female percussion trio, explorers of the Gugak tradition. Inspired and virtuosic, Groove& explores the infinite richness of Gugak, a term that encompasses Korea's great musical and choreographic traditions—from court music to folk songs, shamanic rituals, and theater. Groove&'s uniqueness also lies in the composition of the group, a female percussion trio, at a time when women are rarely present in the Gugak tradition. Their performances are brimming with musicality and harmonic and rhythmic inventiveness, delivered with a mastery that requires both finesse and skill, a sense of improvisation, and a scholarly interpretation of complex arrangements.
The showcase will be followed by a roundtable discussion.
