Composer Elsa Biston and the Strasbourg-based ensemble HANATSUmiroir share a poetic spirit that leads them to divert the conventional forms of the concert, to make each moment of music a full, shared experience.

Attentifs, ensemble
is a musical proposal that invites us to synchronize our listening to a concert. On stage, four musicians, "vibrating objects" and a set of projected texts guide us and direct our attention. How does the concert experience change when we're all aware that we're following the same listening path?

The music ofAttentifs, ensemble dispenses with the strategy of attention that is usually at work in all music. Through the projected text, this responsibility is entrusted to the audience. Music-making" is shared between musicians and listeners. Does this experience modify the consistency of reality, bringing out the sensation of a collective body?

By opening up to words this ordinarily intimate relationship between the music proposed and the sensations experienced by each of us, the show seeks to create a space for sharing, as well as a plunge into subtle listening.
