Aix-Marseille Université's SATIS department offers students from partner structures of the GMEM Platform the opportunity to open the multichannel sound recording course (level 1), which usually takes place at their institution.

The aim of the course and the tutorials is:
- to gain an overview of the most commonly used multichannel recording systems (IRT cross, double MS, double ORTF)
- to be able to use these systems with the MixPre6 SOUNDDEVICES multitrack recorders
- to carry out comparative monitoring on a 5.0 system
- to learn how to route the Schoeps Double MS Tool plug-in in the AVID Protools software.

This workshop is made up of a 3h lecture session (theoretical TD) as well as 6h of practical work (per group of 6 students):
Outside the TD, 3 groups will be formed per session (day).
Each group is made up of a maximum of 6 students, depending on the number of students.
Each student must be a chief operator on one of the 3 recorders and have used the IRT cross, the 2MS or the double ORTF.
