Musiques-Fictions writing and composition residency at the Camargo Foundation

Ircam organizes Musiques-Fictions, acollection launched in 2020
A program where musical creation is in direct contact with literary fiction, a cinema for the ear where oral literature and the pleasure of collective listening are reinvented.

Giving musical writing its rightful place and text its rightful intelligibility: Musiques-Fictions aims to renew the genre of radio fiction, the Hörspiel, by going beyond the simple sound illustration of narrative or dialogue, when the image no longer acts as a screen.

Pairs of writers and composers combine an adapted and signed text, an electroacoustic musical creation and an immersive sound projection in Ircam's projection space, the 49-speaker ambisonic dome.

Christian Sebille proposes a project with Olivia Rosenthal.

Olivia Rosenthal writes a text and Christian Sebille composes music (in real time?) on the theme of the evolution of the automobile in relation to the evolution of society.
