Purpose of residency: Reprise of creation, composition
Nicknamed "white gold" by proponents of "green growth", the extraction of this metal, essential for the manufacture of electric batteries and high-voltage cells, contributes to the devastation of soils and landscapes, and perpetuates human trafficking, particularly in Manono, the capital of Tanganyika province, home to one of the world's largest lithium reserves.

Némo Camus
Némo Camus (1994) is a Brussels-based sound artist and producer. After studying cinema and sociology, he trained in sound creation at INSAS as part of a master's degree in radio production. His work, firmly rooted in a documentary approach, explores the intertwining of narrative and history, "reality" and fiction. Némo listens where the issues he is interested in are most materially embodied. This listening can take the form of texts, radio documentaries, performances or sound installations. He collaborates with creators from other artistic fields such as Pélagie Gbaguidi, On-Trade-Off, Robson Ledesma, Joëlle Sambi, Esther Mugambi, Geva Zaiber, etc.
Némo also runs introductory radio workshops at the École Expérimentale, set up by atelier210, and is a member of the Jef Klak collective, where he explores the links between text and politics.
