Purpose of the residency: creation
The sound of a switch. A lamp lights up.
Conceived around the piece Nocturne by Mátyás Wettl, It's not an electronic problem is a performance imagined by the PlayTime Ensemble that plunges the audience into a dreamlike audio-visual installation.
This piece of musical theater, inspired by the relationship between light and shadow, is made of the meeting of acoustic sound, electronics, and a luminous device controlled by the musicians.
This project brings together the composers Sergei Leonov, Jaouen Rudolf and Nicolas Roulive for three musical creations commissioned by the Ensemble.
