In the form of a dynamic journey, the works presented in this concert spread through space, in a narrative continuity close to drone music with a cinematic accent.
Like a continuous flow, the music is first explored in a development that seems rather static, to gradually fill with a kind of strong energy, almost dull.
Guests come to close each of the three chapters of the concert, like a call for air towards the outside, in friendship: Chuck Bettis, Simon Whetham and finally Terre Thaemlitz.

Fascinated by post-punk, rock, dub, electronica and even pop, Bérangère Maximin is also influenced by composers such as François Bayle, Luc Ferrari, Eliane Radigue and the electronic glitch scene. She shows a taste for mixing heterogeneous sounds with a sense of detail and reveals a nuanced and dynamic sound writing, often through the repetition of small fragments of sounds and the inclusion by transparency of the voice and various sound objects. She thus shapes sounds that are cut, customized, and embellished with layers of field recording, creating textured sound environments while cultivating the ambivalence of sounds fixed on a support and their total independence from their sources.
