The place of the listener is essential in any sound moment. But how do we get involved subjectively and sensitively in listening? Écouter l'Ombre is interested in sounds that are not, a priori, classified as music: voices, their flaws, their specificities and the sonic emotions they transmit. An orchestra of forty radio sets invites the spectators to an immersive dive into the sounds and to a journey in their own listening path.
Écouter l'Ombre is a performance that follows the installation Le Bord de la Bande, created in 2018. "Voice hearers", most often diagnosed as schizophrenic by psychiatry, speak about this intangible audible that only they can perceive and describe. They talk about listening, in all senses of the term.
Écouter l'Ombre is made in a deeper encounter with three voice-hearers and in the friction of these voices with the words of musicians who play with tape recorders, capture reality, transform it, compose it and talk about their attachment to sound.

Anne-Julie Rollet and Anne-Laure Pigache, artists associated within Les Harmoniques du Néon create electroacoustic music and sound poetry works considering the word as a place of interaction between the intimate and the social, the language as a sound and musical event.
They stage the distortion of language and listening with an interest in the "friction with reality".
Since 2012, the eclectic creations go from installation, to concert, to radio creation or performance in any type of place, indoor, outdoor, everyday, anodyne, museum or on the radio waves. For a few years now, they have been particularly exploring the transversality of artistic practices and the relationship with public space.
Les Harmoniques du Néon works thanks to a varied network mixing artists, structures dedicated to improvised & contemporary music, festivals & multidisciplinary creation places, public institutions and civil society.
In addition, its teams carry out numerous cultural actions with amateur and "chosen" audiences - in particular psychiatry - with whom it is a question of inventing artistic objects that question the relationship to the norm.
Les Harmoniques du Néon receives structuring aid from the DRAC Auvergne-Rhône- Alpes.
Its projects and creations are regularly supported by the Région Auvergne-Rhône- Alpes, the Département de l'Isère, the City of Grenoble, the SACD and the Adami The Onda and the French Institute support the diffusion of certain pieces of the repertoire. - lesharmoniquesduneon.com

Anne-Laure Pigache
composer, sound artist
Working in the field of sound poetry, at the crossroads of theater and experimental music, Anne-Laure Pigache is particularly interested in the state of improvisation and the quality of presence that this state gives to performers.
Vocalist, she explores more particularly the musicality of language that she likes to twist and reverse. She is interested in the everyday word as a poetic place. - annelaurepigache.fr
Christophe Cardoen
light artist
Christophe Cardoen creates and presents installations; uses lights, movements, sounds; makes devices, lights, objects, spaces.
By associating electromechanical devices, shutters or reflective surfaces with light sources, he provokes variations of rhythms, scansions of bright lights in the deep dark and tests our visual perceptions of time and places. - in.ouir.free.fr/cardoen.htm
