Bassist and lyrical singer, Élise Dabrowski expresses her talents in a wide variety of musical universes. From theater to jazz, from contemporary creation to the most unbridled improvisation, Élise imposes her singularity on European stages. Temporarily abandoning the solo, she entrusts her voice and her double bass to the electronics of Sébastien Béranger, a multiform composer who multiplies the approaches of the musical.
This "two-man trio" develops a sonic imagination between the squeaks of strings and vocal prowess, the virtuosity of electronic sounds and warm layers of sound. Twirling between styles and ideas, Élise Dabrowski & Sébastien Béranger propose a sonic journey through the meanders of their multiple sources of inspiration.
A student of Emmanuel Nunes, Michaël Levinas, Luis Naón and Michèle Reverdy at the CNSMD in Paris, Sébastien Béranger received training in analysis, composition and new applied technologies. At the same time, he obtained a DEA in Aesthetics and Art Sciences and a PhD in musicology.
