Field-recording residency, editing and staging of multi-microphonic sound recordings.
"This project explores the disappearance of sound in the environment.
In contrast to its predecessor, "Les Disparitions", which examined the ways in which sound disappears in the context of instrumental music. This one asks the same questions, but shifts the subject. I'm no longer looking at instrumental sound, but at the sound environment through field recording (taking sound from the environment), based on the specific features of the places where the project will take place.
The piece will take the form of an immersive listening session." - Sébastien Roux
