Courbes de Printemps is an artistic project initiated by the GMEM and set up with the elementary school Rose Place and Rose St Theodore located in the 13th district of Marseille. Within the two classes of CM1-CM2 chosen for the project, the composer Alessandro Bosetti and the choir director Brigitte Fabre will both lead regular workshop sessions. During the first session, the artists will introduce the project to the students and begin a collection of sounds that will serve as a basis for the creation of an original score created by Alessandro Bosetti. After this first composition work, the interventions in the schools will continue in order to work on the interpretation of this piece. A restitution of the project is planned in May; it will allow to put in mirror the work realized in the two schools.
This pedagogical project makes the students actors of the creation of an original musical piece. The workshops will allow the students to discover, in a playful way, the sound universe of the artists through a work around vocal games, the voice and the body technique associated with it. This piece, created for them and with them, will be built around the theme of curves.
This broad theme will invite the students to reflect on the curved forms they can observe in their daily lives: curves in nature, the lines of their hands, curved musical forms... The underlying objective will ultimately be to get them to talk about themselves and their daily lives.

Alessandro Bosetti's work is based on the musicality of voice, language and languages. He explores the border between spoken language and music.
