To build these workshops, the GMEM chooses a composer dedicated to the development of a creative project in collaboration with the teachers, according to the requests and specificities of the school. The artistic content is then elaborated by the artist, in agreement with the teacher and the students: During approximately 20 hours of workshops, the students are brought to produce an artistic work (electroacoustic creations, installations, etc.) The students thus participate in the creation of a musical work and discover at the same time, the roles of composers and technicians. The creation(s) will be promoted at the end of the project in the school and/or via different networks (public presentation, broadcasting on the school's website, the GMEM website, social networks, etc.)
Note of intention of Lucien Gaudion :
The daily use of technologies has considerably increased the quantity of electromagnetic pollution. These invisible rays for our eyes draw a landscape whose width of the contours is indexed on our increasing consumption of electric energy. Thanks to various strategies of sound capture, we will carry out a cartography of this deafening universe.
Course of the sessions:
Session 1 > Presentation of each person, overview of the current artistic panorama, exchange around the project to be realized.
Session 2 > Walk with a recorder, making an inventory of electromagnetic sounds by describing each object captured and each sound emitted by them on a notebook.
Session 3 > Sorting of sounds and reflection on the form of an installation or a concert.
Session 4 > Making of the final rendering.
Session 5 > Monstration of the final result
