Iris Kaufmann
Composer and ethnologist
Electroacoustic composer, singer, performer and ethnologist. Her relentless curiosity has given her an atypical career path! After more than ten years exploring the worlds of Occitanism, traditional music and carnival, she began studying electroacoustic composition at the Cité de la Musique and the Marseille Conservatoire. A gleaner of all kinds of sound bodies, sounds, songs and lyrics, she bases her compositional approach on the re-use of these materials in the elaboration of plural artistic forms at the crossroads of research, artistic experimentation and transmission.
Founder of the FeM company, she directs the Faiseurs de Paysages research and creation cycle, the first phase of which focused on soundscape composition processes in transhumant pastoral zones in the southern Massif Central. Her research now spans several territories, from the Garrigue to Mont Lozère, via Provence and the Hautes Alpes. She also composes sound documentaries on rural themes.

Alban de Tournadre
Multidisciplinary artist
Alban was born in 1988. His work unfolds in non-dedicated places, paying attention to spaces, people and their singularities. He likes to explore reality and sensations, and draws his images from the rural world around him. At the crossroads of the visual arts, sound and performance, he has created three shows produced by compagnie l'Aubépine: Dans le vif, mise en scène de l'ordinaire; Laps, poème de cendre et de bruit and La Sieste, musique concrète en espace ouvert; as well as numerous site-specific artistic experiments. He collaborates with other companies and artists (Cie Sous X, Cie Akalmie Celsius, Iris Kaufmann, Duo Berezko, Nina Gazaniol, Pina Wood). He is currently working on Jardin de nuit, a sensitive sound piece for a vegetable garden. In Comminges, in the south of the Haute-Garonne region, he is also developing a territorial project for his company, combining contemporary creation, know-how and community building in surprising, undisciplined events.

Mathieu Semman
Sound engineer
Mathieu trained at STAFF in Nantes, designer of multichannel broadcast systems and interactive multimedia devices. He specializes in digital signal processing, microcontrollers and nanocomputers, and physical programming.
