As part of Babel Minots 2024

What's the origin of the world? What's my place in all this?
A quest fraught with pitfalls to find his mother, the need to live in his own private space, to take care of his home...

A mouse and a mouse girl take it in turns to live out rhythmic and fantastical childhood epics. All these questions are tackled simply, through tales and music borrowed or inspired by oral traditions.

A set of kitchen and workshop utensils (saucepans, bicycle wheels, hammer, colander, razor...) to celebrate the music of everyday life, to remind and confirm the ear's interest in what we call "noise", which is a great source of inspiration, play, awakening and creation: you can recycle an old bicycle into an instrument!

A violin and an accordion to link this "rambalh" to more "learned" music, the kind that requires an instrument and a lesson, and which here likes to weave a bridge with the ordinary.
Finally, the voice: spoken, told, sung in all its nakedness.

All bilingual, Occitan and French, like a language game, creating the bond, the link between these two languages, so that the words enter the ear first by their music, without effort, recalling their connivances, their consonances, to approach Occitan in a simple and playful way...
